• THE UNSTABLE KING #1

There once was a king who embarked on a journey, seeking out various things for his possession. However, he became lost and disoriented.

A weary man approached him, seeking help. The king, in a moment of weakness, betrayed his wisdom and fell to his knees with pity. The man, who was kind and new to him, had a profound impact on the king.

Sometimes, they would go on walks that lasted for days, and they would even set up camp. One night, before they lit a fire, the king asked the man, „What is the meaning of reality existing so firmly in front of me?”

The man fell silent, pondering the question.

„I don’t know of the reverse,” he replied.

The king drew to an ominous pause. He then asked, „What would you do if you could rewind the idea?”

They both laughed, intoxicated by their shared experience.

One man slept, while the other kept guard. These were straight men, but they were friends nonetheless.

„Often, I am upset that I cannot fall in love at this time,” the man confided.

„And because of that, I am alone due to responsibilities beyond my control,” he continued.

„But why don’t you say you find some prostitutes?” the king suggested.

The man replied, „My wife is back home, waiting for me to return.”

„No prostitutes. You would rather choose your wife,” the king insisted.

„Yes, I love her, and she is a prostitute too,” the man admitted.

„Well, so cute,” the king chuckled.

„So, you’re gay then?” the king asked, a hint of surprise in his voice.

„No, sir, I am not a sex offender,” the man replied firmly.

„Well, you understand that I have made sex illegal, correct?” the king asked.

„Yes, sir, and that no single child shall be brought within the walls,” the man affirmed.

„Well, you know how I like to keep it then, and that’s the way the cookie crumbles, baby, old friend, old pal of mine,” the king said, a mischievous glint in his eye.

„You’re an insane fool,” the man exclaimed.

„You lived in my house,” the king retorted.

„Your house was a kingdom, and the kingdom was built on sin and the guilt and responsibility of all the townsfolk who built this community,” the man explained.

„Well, why did you want to walk with me, whore?” the king asked, his tone becoming increasingly hostile.

„I will excuse this, but that type of behavior is completely unacceptable,” the man replied, trying to maintain his composure.

„Settle down, you’re acting irrelevant,” the king snapped.

„I’m getting bored. You want to pack up and move to a new camp?” the man asked.

„Yes, indeed. The area is a tad bit dreary,” the king admitted.

*And they trotted off into the night, heading to the next stable, setting the stage for the next installment of their story, titled „The Unstable King.”*
